Everywhere you travel in the country, and even in the world, you usually see huge elaborate mosques with very few people throughout the week yet crowded for the Friday prayer. Masjid Abu Bakr opened its doors in 1989 to a group of Muslims who could no longer fit in offices and houses for prayers. Al hamdulila, we are so blessed that today in our small masjid we have a large congregation everyday of people from all different ethnicities. Our combined Friday jumah prayers accommodate over 700 people, while our Isha prayers sometimes top 100 and Fajr tops 50. It is only by the grace of Allah that we have been able to achieve things that mosques 10 times our size could not. Who would have thought that we would live to see the day that Masjid Abu Bakr would be the spot of reversion for over 40 new muslims in one year!  This community is truly a blessed and vibrant one. We have outgrown our school and masjid but inshAllah, with Allahs help and then your support, we will soon move into new facilities and even grow larger. It is our humble request that you continue to support us in any way possible so that we can continue on this path together.May Allah (swt) allow our hearts roar with faith and love for His Quran and the Sunnah of our beloved messenger (saw).
